Hi there. I’m Valerie Serfozo. I am a wife to Mark (he’s the best), a mother to Brent, and Eryn’s grandma (yeah, I finally get to buy girl stuff). I live in central Ohio and work part-time as a church financial secretary. I have always loved photos, so it only seems natural that in 2000, I made the decision to explore the world of scrapbooking. I was immediately captivated. I am amazed at how much the industry has grown since then. It rapidly became more than just stickers and primary colors for me. Just when I think everyone must be out of fresh, new ideas, something else hits the market that I must have!

When I’m not working, I am either scrapping, thinking about it, or on the web in search of inspiration. I am a morning person, so my favorite time to scrap is early in the morning with a cup of hot tea. You’ll never find me up at 2 a.m. finishing a page. If there were an additional 8 hours in a day I would read more, do more for others, become a better photographer, and get back to creative writing. I have never had a dog, but I’d like to have one to keep me company while I scrap. I favor the mountains over the beach, and my dream is to spend a month in Italy (but I’d take a two-week trip, too!)

I became a member of Scrap Muse in 2005, where I have found incredible inspiration and wonderful friends. It is a joy to be part of this amazing design team.
